- M E Wynn & Company was established in 1969 and has been involved in property within Gloucestershire and surrounding counties ever since

- Care Homes, including specialist homes to care for various disabilities and also nursing needs

Our approach
The Company has been around for a long time, and as a result, we are able to take a longer term view, both in our approach to clients and to individual projects.
Our aim is to treat all our clients in the way that we would wish to be treated ourselves.
We are not driven by the need to do a ‘deal’, but seek instead to gain a good understanding of our individual client’s needs, so that we can deliver exactly what is required at a fair price.
Our history
ME Wynn & Company Limited was created in 1969 by Melvyn (Ted) Wynn. Ted worked for many years in a local estate agency where he gathered a great deal of property knowledge before deciding to create his own estate agency. Over the years that followed, the company grew from strength to strength, with six offices spread across Gloucestershire; including Gloucester, Tewksbury and the Forest of Dean.
Ted’s success in the industry helped further his knowledge of building and development, allowing M E Wynn & Co to build and develop properties of its own. Over the decades that followed the business built dozens of homes across the county, in addition to larger projects, including nurseries, offices and playgroups. Soon this area of the business became the focus, with the estate agency side of the business taken over by a large national firm.
The relationship Ted had developed with local tradespeople, solicitors and estate agents through his infectious personality drove the success of the development side of the business, and his philosophy of helping people along the way, moved the company towards larger scale projects; including several cutting-edge care homes, designed to meet the needs of those in specialist care.
Unfortunately, following a battle with cancer in 2013, Ted sadly passed away, leaving the business to his family to continue. Today, ME Wynn & Co has continued to grow, with an increasing focus on property investment. Sister company Wynn Homes, has also been created to specialise in the building of bespoke and modern properties. The company continues to be successful by keeping the same principles that were set by Ted throughout the years, who is still very much a part of the fabric of the company.
